ANA MARÍA GARCÍA. Nacida en Medellín, Colombia.
Es una Artista colombiana, Maestra en Artes Plásticas de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá DC, 1995 - 2001).
Máster en Neuromarketing de la Universidad Internacional de la Rioja (UNIR), España.
GANADORA DE LA BECA INTERNACIONAL PROMOE de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (España, 1999 - 2000).
Trabaja principalmente Fotografía Digital y Pintura. Tiene mas de 15 años de experiencia en el mundo del Arte. Su obra ha sido expuesta en muchas galerías y eventos de Arte sobretodo en Colombia desde 1997 hasta la actualidad; también ha expuesto en México y Estados Unidos. Entre las exposiciones mas relevantes cuenta con el V Festival Internacional de la Cultura del Caribe Maya (Quintana Roo, México) y participación en espacios como el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Bogotá (MAC) y el Museo Bolivariano de Santa Marta, Colombia.
Sus piezas están en colecciones privadas en Colombia, Estados Unidos, Alemania, España y Australia. Su obra fue publicada en el Libro “Imaginémonos a nosotras mismas – Voces Globales de una Nueva Generación de Mujeres” del Museo Internacional de la Mujer (San Francisco, California - USA), entre otras interesantes publicaciones. La artista fue reseñada en la Deutsche Welle (TV Alemana) y en diversos periódicos, revistas y blogs. García pertenece a la Familia del Premio Nobel de Literatura Colombiano Gabriel García Márquez (1927 - 2014), quién la marcó profundamente como artista.

Is a colombian Artist. Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts from the National University of Colombia (Bogotá CD, 1995 - 2001).
Neuromarketing Master's Degree of the International University of la Rioja (UNIR), Spain.
She won the PROMOE INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain 1999 - 2000).
She works mainly in Digital Photography and Painting. She has more than 15 years of professional experience in the Art world; her work has been exhibited in many galleries and Art events overall in Colombia from 1997 to the present time, counting with some exhibitions too in México and United States. Among her most relevant exhibitions are the V International Culture Festival of the Caribbean Mayan (Quintana Roo, México) and participations in spaces like the Contemporary Museum Of Art of Bogotá and the Bolivarian Museum of Santa Marta, Colombia.
Her Art belongs to private collections in Colombia, United States, Germany, Spain and Australia. Her photography was published in the Book "Imagining Ourselves - Global Voices from a New Generation of Women" (edited by the International Museum of Women in San Francisco, California - US and forwarded by Isabel Allende), among other interesting publications. She was reviewed in the Deutsche Welle TV (German TV) and several print and online newspapers, magazines and blogs. García pertains to the Family of the Colombian Nobel Prize in Literature Gabriel García Márquez (1927 - 2014), who influenced her profoundly as artist.
